Donde he estado?

He aprendido a vivir con la frase "have no anxiey for the tomorrow"o ( no tengas ansiedad por el mañana ).

Cuenta tus bendiciones, no tus problemas!

Until next post;

Life | Winter In NYC

Heeeey Girlssss.
I havent been updating that much lately cause I wanna collect as many pictures as I can
before writing anything about my trip. So far is going perfect, The weather was so nice the
first couple of days but THEN started snowing like crazy.

Hola Chicas!

Life | Chinese School

Photobucket

Being Glam its more than just a pretty face and a great sense of style
you have to be smart, ingenious & hard worker before anything else.
Studying even if its not fashion & beauty related, speaking more than
one language nor birth tongue will always lead you to a better position.
Better image and have a better perception from people.

Photobucket

Im sort of a nerd and I like to study LOTS! I love learning new things
I feel it completes me and makes my life less boring and lazy-ish.
Some of you may know I graduated from Chinese School here
in the Dominican Republic, Reason I'm writing this post its because
I miss it so damn much AND one of my biggest dream EVER is
being able to go to Taiwan.

Photobucket

I didnt meet much people in Chinese School cause we were only a few
in my Period but because of that I graduated with great grades. hehe
Im the type of students that get distracted easily ♥

Photobucket

Photobucket

What I wish is to meet new people I can talk with, have conversations
and keep on learning.

Photobucket

A little quote for today;

Get over the idea that only children should spend their time in study.
Be a student so long as you still have something to learn, and this
will mean all your life. ~Henry L. Doherty

LIFE NEWS | Changes + New projects

As you can see I changed the URL a few days ago. Thing that I did without
thinking so much cause now my followers wont find me via dashboard.
But anyway; The new URL is GlamFerSure cause I'm not really dedicating
full time to the asian community like I used to, BUT that doesn't mean I don't
like it nor gonna be inspired by it, cause you know that's practically my life.

I got to explain a few things; I like everything Asian, I think that's and unusual
yet fascinating culture full of awesome things to learn and see... Even me has
some asian inside, my dad's lebanese and Lebanon is ON Asia, for those who
didn't know. So i guess I can call myself HALF Asian. ha!

So talking about the upcoming projects, recently I've been working with my
cousins Emi & MJ [17 & 15] and they're going to be working with me in the
blog, facebook and Youtube account. We just started with the videos and some
shoots for you gals. We really hope you like it & appreciate your support.

I just linked the account to a tab up there ^
but just in case its not working CLICK HERE!~

Life | Coffee Break With The BFF

Between all this stress from school & trying to keep the blog up to date,
me and my best friend decided to have a cup of coffee at the Colonial Zone,
here in Santo Domingo.

You know, just to talk about random things, looking at hot guys, get into
the same frequency [girl speaking], sharing beauty tips etc...

It was such a nice day, and she helped me plan a lot of new upcoming stuff
for the blog, that I surely know you gals will love.

Life | Overseas Studies

Hi readers~

Im back fro a short, quick trip to NYC, it was kinda urgent so I didn't have time
to post itor tell anyone. I left past saturday and came back to Dominican Republic
last night. I got to shop a bit on yesterday morning at Time Square and on thursday
at Tanger Mall in Long Island... But, the reason of my trip wasnt shopping.
Well... Sorta. but no. Ha! I was visiting the bf, bff and some relatives, ++plus
going to school to get some papers for my transfer.

Photobucket

A few of you may know that I plan to study abroad, it is a huge decision to make,
whether or not to do it. Its a nice experience and it can change your life forever.
Opening your mind and eyes to a new culture, adapt, and live like them, get their
lifestyle is a wonderful experience everyone should you should get to live once.

It is hard to get in at some colleges but its never impossible. Most colleges offer
study abroad programs for short term periods for a semester, which can be anywhere
from a month to six months, depending on your school schedule, or you can just take
a summer program abroad. Its a hard decision where to go, but asking yourself a few
question you can get there.

Photobucket

First of all...
What are exactly your plans and what do you want to get from it?
The time really flies so, you don't wanna waste time thinking and letting time pass
by, cause the clock is ticking and you can even miss the admission day if you are
not ready. After you really know what yo want and how you wanna spend your
days everything is going to be fine, trust me. You gonna be so busy learning and
trying new things that you'll never be home sick, you wont have time for it.

What are you looking for in a SAP & what you HAVE to look for?
The key is decide the right destination, you want to be sure to pick a place that
fulfills your expectations and you really want to learn about it. It's an overseas
program after all so it should be different of what you have experienced before.
Also some very important aspects on you decision are the -what I call- FAE,
which stands for Food, Art & Entertainment. It's the very first thing I
research of when I'm going to travel and it really has an impact on your experience.
Being interested is the most important thing about your trip and of course having
a bit of free time to get to know the culture on your own.

How to enjoy every little thing?
The only thing I can think of is make every day a learning experience, there will be
so much to see, so much take and so much to learn. You have to make the most of
your experience and enjoy it to the very end.

How to choose the best place for you?
Most schools offer a structured program catered in the major in which you're
specializing, so what you got to do is research about the countries or cities that are
the very best in that field. According to what I know and what I've heard New York
is the city for Advertising, Photography & Marketing. Thats why I personally chose
that city. Milan and Paris are the fashion capitals, so if you're majoring in that field
that's the way to go. France for laws and Asia for business as well.

Photobucket

After you got everything clear, you're ready to go.
Enjoy you trip and never forget to smile.
♥

Good Luck.

Life | Update on my crazy life

So that time is coming,
The time I have to leave my city to go back to school. The time I don't want
to come its sucks really hard ._____.' But I have/need to, if I wanna graduate.
Although my head is a mess lately, and I cant decided what's what I really really
really want in life. I never though it would be this hard for me, I always had some
passion for art and always got involved with it since I was a little kid. The thing is,
MY COUNTRY.

Back in my homeland, everything is -excuse me the word- 'f up', there's not
enough jobs to everyone and basically if you wanna work on your "area" you NEED
to have really good contacts, otherwise... you my friend are screwed.

Photobucket

That's why I am -how my mom calls me- everythicyan or in spanish "todologa"
cause I'm prepared to do anything, whatever it takes to get where I wanna be.
Even if I don't start working as a designer, I still got the hope of working somewhere
in that area. Plus, my passion for cosmetology fights once in a while with my mind.
So who knows? maybe I start cosmetology school after and maybe I'd be better at that.
you never know right?

SO; I need some advice here,

What do you think Im better at? or What do you see me doing?
Cosmetology?
Photography?
Design?
Blogger? [lol no]
Running my own small company?

any other option?

Life | New York Update! Mini makeup haul + Korea Town

I know I've been a lil bit lost but I'm working my ass out at my job.
I really really really want to save money for a car & to buy my personal stuff.
So since I work nearly 10 hours a day, I'm always exhausted & sleepy. T^T
I get only 5 to 6 hours of sleep daily, sometimes just 3 to 4.

Life | Life update and gong back to NYC

Photobucket

Hiy'all lovely readers.
I've been a little absent these days 'cause I was enjoying
my Holy Week/Spring Break with my friends & family. Im definitely back on track.

I got sooo many things to tell you;
First; I'm moving AGAIN to NYC, but this time will be way more fun
'Cause I'm bringing 2 of my best friends and a really good good good friend with me(:
So basically we gonna live by ourselves, working and having fun together.
2 girls & 2 guys (:

BFF & me(: ♥ [no, we are NOT dating or ever will]
Photobucket

I seriously don't want to come back to the DR, so Im planning on applying
to different schools there. Last time I just checked two, so this time,
now that I know the city well, definitely gonna apply to some more.
Any recommendations you can leave it on a comment or in my chat/shout box.

Also; a week ago was my bday, I'm officially legal in the US now. lol
So me and my friends had dinner at the new Korean Restaurant "Buk"
I don't have many pictures cause since we were partying after
I couldn't take my DSLR Camera with me. /boo/ ~~

I even went to the restaurant another time, but I recorded so many videos
at the karaoke that I didn't have enough space to take pictures. .____. fail
I'll definitely go again before I leave this country.

Photobucket
BFF & me; again (:

I will prolly upload some of the videos & pictures soon; before leaving to NYC.
OMG CANT WAIT <- sorry bout that n_____n

So; I've been doing lots of stuff lately and I'd love to share it with
everyone who reads my blog, but unfortunately I don't post quite often
for time & schedule reasons. I'll try to be more active as soon as I get to NYC
'cause my friends will prolly help me out(:

For those who know me well, you guys know I'm a shoe/bag addict,
and I totally forgot posting these two little cuties.

Oh; I almost forgot. Like a month ago or something I was helping my friend
with his photography HW; where he had to express different person's likes
in just a picture. So, since I like asian stuff, hello kitty, Pucca and colorful things
we decided to go for DECORA.

'Decora' is simply a shortened version of 'decoration'. Is mostly worn by
japanese teenagers & Basically it's all about creating an aura of childlike playfulness
or cuteness with layers, bright colors and tons of jewelry. Hello Kitty and Pokemon
things are super important in a Decora Outfit, Also, bright plastic jewelry, coloured
hair clips and fuzzy boots.

The japanese style cult of Decora is so sharply childlike and cute. If you are
not afraid to wear 12 bows in your hair, three pairs of socks at once, and massive jewelry,
Decora may be the style for you.

Pictures;
/these aren't from his project, these are the non-edited ones he sent me
